Seth was born in Dover, OH and is the son of John Gasche and Jacqueline (Henry) McNutt. He began his collegiate coursework following his sophomore year of high school. He is a 2006 graduate of Dover High School and a 2007 graduate of Kent State University, where Seth earned an Associate’s Degree of Chemistry. While in high school and college, he was employed at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes. Following graduation from Kent, he enrolled at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and graduated in December of 2008, Magna Cum Laude with an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science and a Bachelor’s Degree of Mortuary Science. While there, he served as class representative and participated in several student activities including the anatomical donation program and the continuous assessment committee for the college.
He is also a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, and earned his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation this year. After the completion of mortuary school, he served his apprenticeship at the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in Canton.
Outside of the funeral profession, Seth is a member of St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church in Ashland, serves as Director of Public Relations for the Ashland Rotary Club and proudly serves on the Ray and Joan Kroc Center Board.
He is married to the former Lindsey J. Roberts. Seth and Lindsey enjoy traveling and most recently working on their historical house on Center Street.
Lindsey was born and raised in Wooster. She is the daughter of the former Mindy (nee Miller) Roberts and the late Greg Roberts. Following her graduation from Smithville High School she attended Bowling Green State University, where she received her Associates degree. In the fall of 2007 she attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, met her future husband and fellow classmate Seth Gasche. During her time in Cincinnati, she worked for Anderson-Vitt-Stermer Funeral Home. Lindsey graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science in the fall of 2008. She served her apprenticeship at her family’s funeral home.
After completing her apprenticeship she left her family funeral home to work with her husband Seth. Lindsey is a member of the Rotary Club of Ashland and Grace Brethren Church in Wooster. She is serving on the board of Ashland Main Street. Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, traveling, and redecorating their historical home on Center Street.
The couple calls Ashland home with their daughter, Reagan Greer and two pets, Corky and Chance.
