Janice was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and before that the Acme Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In particular, the children and grandchildren looked forward to multiple batches of homemade applesauce every fall. She also had a special talent for fine embroidery and all who knew her were gifted with various pieces that will become more cherished as time passes.
Janice is survived by her loving sister Linda Corp (Ray), a daughter, Jody Krinov (Tom), and three sons, Greg (Jan), Mark, and Chris (Linda). She is also survived by six granddaughters, two grandsons, two great grandsons, two great granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center Street, Ashland with Reverend Michael Koch officiating. Friends may visit with family at the church one hour prior to the service. A lunch at the church will follow. A private service for immediate family at the gravesite will be scheduled at a later date.
Janice supported many charitable organizations over the years and had great empathy for others less fortunate. It would have delighted her to know all would support a charity of their choice in lieu of flowers.
