Philip S. Fair, 61 of Ashland passed away, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in his home of natural causes.
He was born on January 18, 1958 in Ashland to Richard B. and Pauline (nee Crider) Fair.
Philip graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1976.
He worked as a landscaper for more than 30 years; having been employed at Buff’s Lawn and Garden for many of those years. Philip was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Philip enjoyed vegetable gardening throughout his life.
He is survived by his sister, Cheryl (Michael) Fulk of Ashland; one nephew, Todd (Shelli) Fulk of Columbus; two great-nieces, Kiana and Hailey Fulk; one great-nephew, Connor Fulk, all of Columbus; three step-brothers, David (Sue) Clingan of Shelby, Stephen (Sherry) Clingan of Hayesville, and Timothy (Louise) Clingan of Mansfield; one step-sister, Linda (Bill) Flenner of Mansfield; one cousin, Dr. Joseph (Karen) Baker of Dothan, Alabama; and a K-9 companion, his Golden Retriever, Griffin.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Fair and Pauline Fair Clingan; a step-father, Hugh B. Clingan; and his brother, Steven G. Fair.
Graveside services will be held, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ashland Cemetery with Reverend Michael Namy officiating.
