Debra A. Bemiller (nee Vojtush) passed away Monday, August 19, 2019, with her family by her side at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Ashland, Ohio on January 23, 1957. Debra was the daughter of Irene (nee Kobilack) and Thomas Vojtush. Debra graduated from Ashland High School in 1975. She worked for many years at Super X.
In 1982 she found the love of her life and after a brief courtship, she married Steven Bemiller on March 20, 1982. Truer soulmates have never been. They were married for 37 years. She and her husband own the Ashland Wooster Drive-In. Given her entrepreneurial spirit, Debra also owned and operated the Watermelon Barn (a hair and tanning salon/gift shop) between the years of 1996 and 2002.
Debra was known for her sense of humor and infectious laugh. She was a devoted daughter, mother and wife. Her family was her whole life.
She will be sadly missed by her surviving family-her mother Irene Vojtush, her husband Steven Bemiller, her daughter, Michelle Bemiller (Griffin Kelley), son Shane Bemiller (Tiffany), five grandchildren, Riley and Noah Bemiller-Kelley, and Jaedyn, Naiya and Kenna Bemiller. One sister, Roberta (Bryan) Chance, one brother, Tomas Vojtush Jr., six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Vojtush Sr.
