Donna L. Renner, 78 of Ashland passed away, Sunday morning, October 6, 2019 in Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on December 29, 1940 in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter Cansler and Dorothy (nee Ochier) Daniel.
Donna married Robert Renner on March 8, 1969. She was employed at Walmart for more than 8 years prior to the time of her retirement. Donna previously worked at Hedstrom and Columbia Gas Company for many years.
Throughout her life, Donna was an avid shopper who loved to travel, but most of all spending time with her family. Her family would not be complete without her canine companion, Buddy.
She is survived by her children, Debra (James) Gordon of Houston, Texas, Diana (Travis) Jarrett of Brownsville, Tennessee; DeAndrea (Yolanda) Renner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Darren (Melissa) Renner of Mansfield, Doyle Scott (Marc) Renner of New Orleans, Louisiana, and David (Shannon) Renner of Mansfield, Robert (Audrey) Renner of Massillon, and Dominique Robinson of Cleveland; five step children; eight siblings, Reverend Delaine McGhee of Ashland, Darlene Miller of Hayesville, Dennis Smith of San Diego, California, DeWayne (Linda) Smith of Newton Falls, Druscilla (William) Caldwell of Ashland, Danita (Terry) Rickett of Ashland, Dean (Angie) Daniel of Ashland, and Dana (Sharon) Daniel of Ashland; 52 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and special friend, Cheryl (Tim Lewis) Lozier of Ashland.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years; one sister, Denise Smith; and three brothers, Darrell and Ronald Cansler, and Donald Smith.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. DeWayne Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
