Terri Lyn Mellor, 45 of Loudonville passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 after a courageous battle with Cancer.
She was born on August 26, 1974 the daughter of David and Nancy (nee Krause) Smith.
Terri graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1993.
She married Alan Mellor on February 14, 2005. Terri was employed by Farm Credit Mid-America for the past 7 years as a Customer Service Representative and previously at Ed Bowman Insurance as a secretary for many years.
In her earlier years, she was a girl scout, a member of F.F.A. and 4-H. Terri was an advisor for Hill Top 4-H Club and was an avid equestrian enthusiast owning many horses throughout her life. Her greatest love was her family, being a devoted wife, mother, and daughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Alan Mellor of Loudonville; her mother, Nancy Searl of Ashland; her father, David (Lorie) Smith of Ashland; two sons, Connor and Cole Mellor of Loudonville; one step daughter, Kailie Mellor of Loudonville; one step son, Kyle Mellor of Loudonville; two step grandchildren, Braxtyn Kirk and Kenleigh Mellor; an expected granddaughter, Cora; her paternal grandparents, George and Virginia Smith of Ashland; one sister, Cassie Smith; one brother, Zachary (Jessica) Smith; her beloved horse, Claire; and three nieces, Elise Pifer and Avery and Norah Smith; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terri is preceded in death by her stepfather, Bruce Searl and her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Harriet Krause.
An interment service will be held, Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Krause Cemetery with Reverend Layton Broome officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home to process to the cemetery no later than 10:45 a.m. Friends may call, Monday, May 4, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
