Britney, I'm so sorry for your lose I know how much your Dad loves you and your family and loved being with you. I don't know David well we are cousins but only found each other a few years ago. I didn't know about his cancer, I'm sorry, must run in the Moore family. I wish you all happy memories, as you know we will be with him again soon. It was great learning more about our relatives and doing the temple work that your Dad sent me. My prayer are with you at this hard time. Patti Moore Finch Salt Lake City, Utah

David and I were close friends for many many years! I loved seeing him when he would come to WA. I also helped him with his horse transfer business.. When he got the news on the cancers vicious return he called and we cried together. Both of families were our favorite topics! Hes so proud of his grandchildren!!! Watching them grow over the years and sharing about their antics brought so much joy! His testimony was rock solid!! We loved talking about the gospel!! He would always comment on who I was dating or married too. He said since we dated it gave him the right to tell me when I did not choose usually he was right!! (Plus I would tell him the same! lol) When my husband Mark came along he said I hit the gold mine! And he is right!! He wanted to come to WA more often but when he could finally see his family he was thrilled! When I was alone raising my children, I have 12, he would help me figure out how to fix things over the phone from a broken lawn mower to a washer or dryer. I could ask him anything. And visa versa.. we were very honest with each other, sometimes brutally honest, and our friendship and love never wavered!
David, you are so loved and missed!!

David had a gruff exterior that was quite unsettling until you actually met him. However, he had a heart of gold and would gladly give you the shirt off his back. I have fond memories of the times we went fishing together. Rest in peace, my friend.

I have a fond memory that Brother Moore would always stop to visit with me whenever I would attend the Ashland Ward Sunday Services. He would go out of his way to make time to visit and make me feel welcome.
