I loved your mama...she was feisty, and brave and fun. She made me laugh, she made me want to be brave and travel in a little trailer and to see the world. She was an amazing teacher, she loved my preschool kids and treated them like her own. I just found out that she and I were born in the same hospital in Warren, I wish I would have known that as we would have had a good laugh at two "tough broads" born in the same place. The world was a better place with her in it, and i will miss her laughter. Prayers and hugs for you all.

Carla was a special friend to me over the years. We were at AC (AU) together and reunited through school activities, YMCA and in AU. I loved her contagious laughter, her positive attitude in life and her bright smile.
She is missed by those who knew her. We send our prayers and sympathy to her family.

Dear girls and families,
I was so saddened to read the passing of your mom. Back in the day, she and I chatted quite frequently when you were young and we all lived on Edgehill Ave. Theresa was part of my " gang of kids" that I babysat. I always admired your moms fierce determination to raise you girls the best she could. I witnessed the " lean " years when she struggled to find consistent work, cobbling together a paycheck by substituting at whatever district would have her. Her many hours helping at the YMCA! Our family used to see you girls working there, too, as you got older. I remember the night she called and said you had a bat in the house and Gary came running with tennis racket in hand!
We lost touch once she moved off the street but I was so happy for her to have a new home! She was a woman of action and truly loved the outdoors. The Mohican school was a good fit for her and I was relieved she had found steady work. I bumped into her out and about after they closed the school and she again was on her mission to keep pushing on. I am sure she was so proud of all of you and your families! She clearly did the work of 2 parents and never complained about her lot in life.
While your hearts are heavy now, always know she truly was the best !

Love to you all,
Deb Eilenfeld
