Lucille Liston Egyed, 96, of Savannah, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Lutheran Village in Ashland.

Lucille was born June 17, 1924 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Clarence L. and Alberta L. (Wessell) Dodson. She had been a resident of the area for most of her life.
She was first employed by Faultless Rubber Company making Life Vests during World War II. She then worked as an inspector at Westinghouse in Mansfield, a sales associate with the Giant Store then the United Store in Ashland.
She was affiliated with the Clear Creek Church of Christ and the Savannah United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ashland Chapter of the A.A.R.P. and the Ashland County Senior Citizens. She enjoyed doing puzzle books and watching the Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cleveland Indians.
Lucille was married to Devene B. Liston who preceded her in death in 1964. She was then married to Louis J. Egyed on February 15, 1969 who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jerry (Steph) Liston of Sullivan and Stacy (Michael) Case of Ashland; her daughter-in-law, Janice K. Liston of Millersburg; 5 great granddaughters; Britny (Ryan) Queen, Mackenzie (Denison) Smith, Mikayla (Terrence) Jones, Megan Liston & Makenna Case; and 7 great-great grandchildren, Jaylynn Smith, Tramane Jones, Zariah Smith, Issabella Biller, Akaysha Jones, Vada Smith & Rayden Biller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Devene B. Liston and Louis J. Egyed, her son Gary G. Liston on May 2, 2017 and two sisters, Mary Louise Kennedy and Evelyn Watchorn.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dale-Roy School, 1256 S.
