Earl Stanley, “Stan”, “Smokey” Frank, 87, of Ashland and formerly of Loudonville, passed away Sunday evening, October 18, 2020 in the Brethren Care Health Care Center.

Stan was born January 21, 1933 in Perrysville, Ohio, the son of the late Karl E. and Florence (Myers) Frank. In 1942 he and his family moved to the family farm outside of Loudonville, and he was a 1952 graduate of Hayesville High School. Stan was an US Army veteran. He retired from F.E. Myers (Pentair) and enjoyed working on the family farm.
He is survived by a brother Larry (Shirley) Frank of Ashland; three sisters Elsie Vaughn of Loudonville, Nancy Emmons and Janet (Howard) North both of Ashland, one Sister-in-Law Leann Frank of Ashland, and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great- nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Stan was preceded in death by his wife Elnora Frank in 2010. Three brothers; Ross, James, and Ralph Frank. Two Brothers-in-Law; Oliver Vaughn and Harold Emmons, and one Sister-in-Law Ann Frank.
Private Graveside services will be in the Greenlawn Union Cemetery, Perrysville with full military honors.
