Margaret Anne Moorman, 89, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020 in University Hospital’s Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born June 4, 1931 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Wilfred Karl and Mary Ona (Lybarger) Schaffer. She was a graduate of Ashland High School and had been an Ashland resident her entire life.
Margaret retired from U-Brand Company after more than 35 years of service as the company’s president and vice president’s secretary. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church and volunteered as the church’s secretary.
Whether working, volunteering, shopping, or travelling most of the world, Margaret conducted herself with class and style. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Tina (Scott) Balogh of Greenwich; One grandson Jason Balogh and one granddaughter Jennifer (Greg) Marano; 5 great-grandchildren, one brother Max (Shirley) Schaffer of Longmont, Colorado; her dear friend Merle Queer, and cat Mia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the love her life, her husband Dick Oscar Moorman, to whom she was married Sept 15, 1951, in July 1994, and her second husband Breslin McKnight, to whom she was married May 29, 1999, on May 27, 2014.
Funeral Services will be Monday November 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home, with Reverend Kevin McClain officiating. Friends may call 30 minutes prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery.
