Jimmy will always be remembered in the hearts of the owners and staff of the Reed House Restaurant in Nova. Jimmy was a pleasure to be around with his smiling face and laughter. He would turn a frown to a smile as soon as you met him.
For 19 years , Jimmy, played the organ every Saturday and Sunday at the Reed House. He loved to play his favorite songs and take request from the customers. There were many times you would hear the customers singing along with him.
Jimmy had friends from all over the area (Lorain, Cleveland, Mansfield, Ashland) that came to eat and listen to his sweet music.
Everyone that was fortunate to have known him, loved him.
Rest In Peace, Jimmy,

My memories of Jimmy go back to his days at the Reed House Restaurant. It was always an evening my family looked forward to, just to hear him play. Over the years we heard him play at several places. Years later my aunt was at Brookwood Place for several years and Jimmy was there, always smiling, sharing an easy laugh with anyone he spoke with. He would come to my Aunt's room and play her organ she had there many times. He shared his talents with all and he had many. Mostly however, it was his smile and caring attitude toward others. I will miss running into him when he would be out shopping in Ashland. I always enjoyed being able to say hello and catch up a bit with him. I don't think he ever forgot anyone he had met. Thank you Jimmy for so many happy memories.

My 5 years of working at Brethren Care in the Brookwood building, I met so many wonderful residents. One especially, Jimmy❤
My heart breaks hearing of his passing. He was such a pleasant and caring man. Loved his singing and piano playing. It brought so much joy to the residents and staff.
He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always so cheerful and smiling. Oh, how I loved when he laughed😂
To those who were fortunate to have known him, please take some of his positive attitude along with you and give of yourself to others.
Rest in peace my dear friend. Sing and rejoice with all your loved ones.
