Doyle E. Greshner, 87, of Ashland, died, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland.

Doyle was born June 13, 1933 in Ashland to the late Virgil Henry and Mary Caroline (nee Echelberger) Greshner. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He married Beverly (nee Kendel) Pickering on March 26, 2006.
Doyle worked at Custom Hoists in Hayesville, where he ran a welding machine for many years before he retired.
He was a lifetime member of the Amvets.
Doyle enjoyed coaching little league teams for over 32 years. He was instrumental in building ballfields in Savannah. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Doyle enjoyed bowling, golfing, and collecting golf balls. He also enjoyed eating out at local restaurants.
In addition to his wife, Beverly Pickering, Doyle is survived by his daughters; Mary (Brad) Dalton of Nova, Marta Ramsey of Ashland, Melinda (Doug) Elliott of Ashland, a son Mikel Greshner of Ashland, grandchildren; Karie (Bill) Hickey of Savannah, Katie (Matt) Willis of Savannah, Kitty (Tony) Clark of Stow, Heather (Jimmy) Parsons of Ashland, Hollie (Jim) Golden of Ashland, Chad Anderson of Ashland, Courtnee Greshner of Arizona, Brittnee Greshner of Columbus, Lainnee Greshner of Ashland, and twelve great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson in law Ken Ferreira.
Per Doyle’s wishes, there will not be any services. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Hayesville Vermillion Cemetery.
