Arzella Harper, 75 of Jeromesville passed away on Sunday evening, January 31, 2021.
She was born on November 11, 1945 in Gates City, Virginia the daughter of the late Leonard and Alberta (nee Fields) Dingus.
Arzella married Richard Harper on September 27, 2008. For more than 31 years, Arzella was the owner/operator of Arzella Beauty Salon.
She was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Arzella enjoyed crochet, cooking and church fundraiser.
Arzella is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Richard Harper of Jeromesville; one daughter, Tonda (James) McGuire of Jeromesville; two sons, Scott (Jill) Phillips of Ashland and Robert Phillips of Hayesville; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Bauckman of Ashland and Evelyn (Roger) Counts of Mt. Gilead; and one brother, Leonard Dingus of Butler.
In addition to her parents, Arzella is preceded in death by one son, Donald Phillips Jr.; and one brother, Lawrence Dingus.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Tracy officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
